If we have to drag it kicking and screaming, Spring WILL come to Chicago.

This view of the sidewalk in front of my house is actually somewhat welcome, because the puddles tend to appear each afternoon and mostly recede overnight. This means that the seemingly never-ending snow is actually disappearing, bit by bit.

If you look very closely, you can see the reflection of actual blue sky here. And as I walk around my block, the last couple of days have uncovered lots of yard space, the brown grass finally being able to show itself again and receive the light of the sun!
